DB Schenker Rail is a rail freight operator in Europe with a truly European presence. It is supported by its own European operations network, which it has consistently expanded and developed over the years.

Some 30,800 employees in 15 countries in Europe work to ensure that cross-border transportation is managed efficiently and in a customer-oriented and environmentally friendly manner. Today almost sixty percent of DB Schenker Rail’s transport services are pan-European.

With 2,878 locomotives, DB Schenker Rail has the largest fleet on the continent. DB Schenker Rail is divided into three regions, which coordinate processes in country – from Spain to Russia and from Sweden to Turkey.
